An improperly installed or serviced water heater could cause this!

The requirement for a backflow prevention device at your water meter today creates a 'sealed' system in your home, requiring additional safety measures regarding your water heater. When water is heated in your tank, it will expand. With nowhere to go, pressure builds in the hot water system. If not regulated, it will cause damage and unnecessary wear to your faucets and appliances. Unchecked, the results could be catastrophic. There are ways to protect your home and family, contact us for information.
